So glad and honoured I won the latest JMCA edition in the self portrait non pro section! My work “Lullaby of the disarray” will be exhibited in Barcelona, at FotoNostrum Mediterranean House of Photography, in the frame of the 8th Biennial of Fine Art and Documentary Photography on December 2024 and April 2025. (You can find the work who won the prize and the two who won the honorable mentions at PART 1 of the magazine, page 319 and 320.)
I wanted to share with you my invitation too:

Dear Debora
You are invited to participate in the 8th Biennial of Fine Art and Documentary Photography, now renamed as the Barcelona Foto Biennale.
This event will showcase works from the 21st and 22nd Julia Margaret Cameron Award, the 20th and 21st Pollux Awards, selections from “The World of Photography” Vol. 2, and the FotoNostrum Magazine Award.
This invitation extends to artists from past editions of the Julia Margaret Cameron and Pollux Awards, and those selected by the curators at FotoNostrum. If you’re already registered through the latest awards, you can submit additional works.
The Biennale, which began in 2010 in Madrid and has been hosted in Buenos Aires, Malaga, and Berlin, finds its permanent home in Barcelona. It has presented thousands of emerging artists globally, fostering a vibrant networking opportunity. Artists have the option to exhibit in just one or all of the scheduled exhibitions, allowing flexibility to match your availability and preferences.
This year’s Biennale will be divided into four exhibitions to ensure broad participation. The December 2024 exhibitions are scheduled for November 21 to December 1, and December 12 to December 22. The April 2025 exhibitions will run from April 3 to April 13, and April 24 to May 4, offering various travel opportunities for those wishing to attend the opening receptions and the artist’s dinner the following day.
